Oh la ladies! This is Cass from cassandrebeccai.com. I’m coming to you with a Holiday Hair series. Yes, it’s a holiday and I think this is the perfect time to do something fun and cute with your hair.
Today, I’m wearing a beautiful hair bow. I made this bow out of my own hair. To get it this voluptuous and amazing, I did a few things that are super easy to do that I think that you can emulate for this hairstyle.
So, if you want to know how how I got it like this, if you want to try and do it like this yourself then, definitely stay tuned and I’ll give you the instructions that I followed to get it this way.
How to Do It
You want to start this hairstyle with a nice ponytail. It ca be as wide as you want it to be. Mine will probably be three inches in diameter.
I’m using the combs to stop the elastic from getting much smaller than the three inches I want. The bigger your ponytail, the thicker and more voluptuous your ponytail and bow will be.
Once you’re done smoothing your edges, separate your ponytail into halves. Make sure that they’re equal sizes because you definitely don’t want a lopsided bow or one side to be much smaller than the other.
Once you have your ponytail together, take one half and position it so that, it looks like a half of a bow. Remember to tuck your ends under and use a few pins to pin it in place.
It might take a few pins or few tries to get this bow to look the way you want it but, it’s definitely worth it in the end.
Use your favorite barrette to accent the middle of your bow for a really pretty look.
Then, to smooth down your edges, use some gel and your head tie. Get it nice and smooth.
This is how I do a holiday hair bow. Isn’t it adorable?

Now, I got this barrette… I don’t know if you’ve seen any one of my other videos but, I love to use these combs and barrettes. I got this barrette at H&M. I don’t know if they still have them now but, I think it’s so cute as an accent to a bun.
The other supplies you can find on my website. I’ll have a link there for you so, you can go and purchase them yourself. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this holiday series, the first video of the Holiday Series.
